Commercial Roofing Operations Manager in Colorado The Commercial Roofing Operations Manager will oversee the job in progress to ensure that it is on schedule and meets budget for labor and materials. The manager will also monitor each job’s safety record.
Job Functions
Manage and supervise commercial roofing crews and commercial roofing jobs.
Attend and participate in pre‑construction meetings.
Read and understand field books with various construction job scopes of work, plans, and specifications to properly plan and perform work within schedules and budgets.
Establish lines of communication with external and internal customers (GCs, building owners, owners’ representatives, consultants, project managers, accounting, operations, field personnel, etc.) before, during, and after job completion.
Instruct the best practices for roofing production by fully participating in on‑the‑job training and periodic manufacturer training.
Train employees on safety procedures and safety equipment.
Teach terminology of roofing materials, tools, and equipment and proper use.
Plan, administer, and participate as instructor in company‑sponsored education programs for new hires and developing roof technicians.
