Description ASC Engineered Solutions is looking for a
Project Manager
to support our Columbia, PA manufacturing facility. The Project Manager will be focused on delivering capital, operational, and strategic projects within our manufacturing facility. The position oversees project governance, drives execution excellence, and manages cross‑functional initiatives.
How You Will Help
Manage full lifecycle of capital and operational projects, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, risk management, execution, and closeout.
Lead or support multiple workstreams across engineering, operations, finance, supply chain, EHS, and transformation initiatives.
Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and communication plans.
Oversee design, engineering, procurement, construction, installation, commissioning, and validation activities for capex projects.
Track and report progress to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
Conduct data‑driven analysis to support operational improvements and business transformations.
Establish and maintain PMO standards, tools, templates, and reporting mechanisms.
Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive contingency planning.
Maintain project documentation, databases, and performance dashboards.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory standards, and corporate project governance.
Budget & Financial Management
Prepare and manage project budgets, forecasts, and capital funding requests.
Track spending, cash flow, and cost‑to‑complete metrics.
Support competitive bidding, vendor selection, and contract management (non‑commercial).
Provide accurate and timely financial reporting to stakeholders.
Risk, Safety & Compliance
Lead project safety reviews and partner with EHS for safe execution.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and internal safety standards.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or related field.
7–10+ years of project management experience, preferably in a manufacturing or operations environment.
Experience managing capital or operational projects ranging from $5–$20M.
Strong analytical skills and experience with financial modeling, risk assessments, and process mapping.
Cross‑functional project leadership experience.
Preferred
PMP or Six Sigma certification.
Experience with large‑scale transformation initiatives.
Advanced Excel skills.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
