About The Role

The Administrative Assistant position plays an important part in our school community. You will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with the administration, faculty, and staff to execute and manage the schools external communications, support administrators, assist with front office needs, and complete projects as assigned.

  • Use basic graphic design skills to assist in creating visual materials using software such as Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Sites).
  • Create weekly parent communications to highlight school news and announcements in collaboration with administration.
  • Assist with school website and calendar edits, ensuring content relevancy and accuracy.
  • Identify and develop newsworthy content to highlight through social platforms, aligning with the schools mission and marketing objectives.
  • Document school activities, including classroom events, student performances, and campus life, through photos and videos.
  • Assemble the school yearbook and curate photographs using yearbook publishing software.
  • Partner with faculty, staff, and administration to promote student and school achievements through multiple channels.
  • Assist in daily office operations including managing correspondence, scheduling meetings, and maintaining accurate student and staff records.


Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; Bachelors degree preferred.

Experience
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; Canva and Google Workspace experience highly valued.
  • A collaborative, proactive multitasker with a positive attitude and attention to detail.
