HART Technologies Inc is hiring: Accounting Specialist in Manassas Park

HART Technologies, Inc. has opening for mid to senior level Accounting Specialist to work as a member of our AS9100D certified engineering company. Candidates who are highly motivated, process-oriented, and capable of learning new tools and processes are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
• Processing payroll, including initiating direct deposits, calculating 401K contributions and federal/state withholding.
• Reconciling bank statements, general ledger accounts, and other financial records.
• Supporting audits, ensuring compliance with GAAP accounting standards and defense contracting regulations (e.g. DCAADCMA).
• Develop, review and submit regulatory filings (Incurred Cost Report, Sales Tax, Property Tax, etc.).
• Preparation of financial reports, statements, and schedules.
• Assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline accounting operations.

Required:

• BA/BS in Business, Accounting or related field.
• 8+ years of related professional experience.
• 4+ years of direct experience on State or Federal Cost Reimbursable Contracts (e.g. Cost Plus).
• High level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel).
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD Security Clearance.

Preferred:

• MBA/MS in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field.
