A large logistics company in Metairie is seeking a Logistics - Customer Service Representative to work in one of their departments.

Duties of the Logistics Customer Service Rep include but are not limited to:
* Assist with processing freight forwarding documentation for export shipments (bills of lading, country of origin, etc.)
* Answer phone calls and make outbound calls to clients
* Receive instructions for each assigned client
* Enter client information into database
* Work with customs and assist with paperwork regarding cargo
* Issue instructions for container pickups
* Coordinate deliveries
* Receive updates from operations on process of pickups
* Review invoice information and send to accounting
* Track and trace other shipments
Requirements of the Logistics Customer Service Rep:
* 2 years of customer service experience Experience in logistics, transportation, or import/export preferred
* High School Diploma required Bachelor's Degree preferred
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel (will be tested)
* Able to work in a fast paced environment
* Able to establish and maintain effective, positive working relationships
