Soni Resources is partnering with a dynamic manufacturing client near Piscataway, NJ, seeking a proactive, organized, and service-oriented Customer Service Representative to support their customers and internal teams. This role will handle inbound customer inquiries, coordinate across departments, and ensure accurate and timely responses related to orders, pricing, payments, and product information. The ideal candidate is a go-getter with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
* Field and respond to customer calls, providing timely, accurate support.
* Partner with internal departments (Sales, Operations, Finance, etc.) to research and resolve customer questions.
* Assist with quotes, pricing requests, order entry, and order processing.
* Check customer payment history, invoice status, and coordinate with Accounting when needed.
* Support the President on ad-hoc administrative or project-based tasks.
* Maintain detailed and organized customer records within internal systems.
* Ensure a positive customer experience through professional communication and problem-solving.
Preferred Skills:
* Experience using NetSuite or similar ERP systems (strong plus).
* Prior experience in building products, architectural products, or related industries (strong plus).
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
* A proactive, go-getter mindset with the ability to take initiative.
* Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
* Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
Qualifications:
* 1-3 years of customer service, order management, or inside sales experience preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
Compensation : $25-$27/ Hour
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications.
