*Summary*
In this role, you will deliver essential speech therapy services to patients, supporting their communication and swallowing needs while contributing to our mission of compassionate care.
This position covers parts of Stephens, Grady, and Comanche Counties and travel is required. Some patients are in long-term care settings, but other patients are home patients or are seen at our outpatient clinic in Marlow.
*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for patients. * Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs. * Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care. * Provide therapy sessions focusing on speech, language, and swallowing disorders. * Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly. * Educate patients and their families about therapy goals and techniques. * Maintain accurate documentation of all assessments and interventions. * Stay updated with the latest practices in speech-language pathology.
*Qualifications*
* Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. * Proven experience in pediatrics, early intervention, long term care and/or assisted living settings. * Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to speech therapy. * Excellent patient assessment skills with a compassionate approach. * Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams. * Effective communication skills with residents, families, and team members. * Prior experience with pediatric populations is highly desirable.
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
