The Company is seeking a Chief Impact Officer (CIO) to join its Executive Team and play a pivotal role in driving the strategic design, implementation, and evaluation of its programs. The CIO will be responsible for developing and leading a comprehensive storytelling strategy that effectively communicates the impact of the organization's work. This includes serving as a core member of the leadership team, working in close collaboration with the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer, and supervising staff across various program areas. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, analytical, and collaborative leader with a deep understanding of arts programming, grantmaking, research methods, data-driven decision-making, and communications strategy. They should be a systems thinker and equity-focused leader, dedicated to ensuring that the organization's programs are aligned with its strategic plan and deliver meaningful outcomes.

Applicants for the CIO position at the company should have 12-15+ years of relevant work experience, with a proven track record of growth, leadership, and strategic visioning. Essential qualifications include extensive knowledge and experience in team leadership, management, and development, as well as a deep interest in and experience with program planning, strategy, and evaluation. Familiarity with grantmaking practices, particularly in the arts sector, and a strong ability to communicate and network with a broad constituent base are also required. The CIO will be expected to lead programmatic strategy in alignment with the organization's mission and values, drive evidence-based program design, and ensure that the technical systems effectively support the programmatic work. The role demands a candidate with excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills, and the ability to represent the organization to external constituencies. A valid driver's license and the willingness to travel are necessary, as is a commitment to the values of the organization and the advancement of its goals.
