About the Role

The Company is in search of a Head of Global Employment Legal and People Relations, an SVP-level executive, to provide strategic legal counsel on workforce programs, enterprise projects, and complex personnel strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing a geographically dispersed team of employment attorneys, managing the People Relations function, and ensuring that employment legal guidance aligns with the company's culture and guiding principles. This role requires a leader with extensive global employment law experience, a proven track record in high-profile investigations, and the ability to manage a large international team. The Head of Global Employment Legal and People Relations will also be accountable for executive and strategic advisory, global employment legal leadership, and managing employment disputes and compliance.

Applicants for this role at the company should have a JD from an accredited law school, active bar membership, and at least 15 years of legal experience with a significant focus on global labor and employment law, preferably in the media, entertainment, or technology sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in advising C-suite executives, experience with the employment aspects of production environments, and a proven ability to negotiate and resolve complex employment agreements and disputes. Exceptional organizational and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to navigate sensitive and confidential matters.
