About the Role
The Company is seeking a President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to serve as its most senior executive, providing spiritual, programmatic, and operational leadership. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Board to guide the organization in its mission of awakening and serving Spirit for the transformation of self and society. This role is pivotal in ensuring operational and programmatic excellence, cultural coherence, and external engagement and influence. The CEO will be the primary point of communication between the Board and the staff, and will be expected to embody the Institute's values of spiritual discernment and loving action, with a long-term view that spans across generations.
Key responsibilities for the CEO include leading the organization in support of its vision, activating and implementing strategy, and fostering a learning mindset through evaluation and analysis. The ideal candidate will be ready to build coalitions, act boldly, and fuel imagination, particularly in the current pivotal period of possibility. The role demands a deep commitment to the organization's mission and a partnership with the Board that reflects a shared dedication to personal and collective spiritual growth. The CEO will also be responsible for modeling the Institute's commitment to individual and collective spiritual journey and transformation, and for leading the organization in a way that is in harmony with its unique "deep engagement" model of Board and staff relationship.
