About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President for Acquisitions with a focus on industrial real estate. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new equity acquisition and joint-venture opportunities in industrial spaces within the New York Tri-State Area and Central Florida. This role involves cold calling and contacting brokers, landlords, and developers to source new leads, as well as employing persuasive negotiation and deal-making skills to negotiate terms and close industrial transactions. The VP will also be involved in the evaluation and execution of transactions, including analysis, structuring, due diligence, and market research.
Applicants must have a minimum of 7 years' of significant logistics/industrial experience, with a strong understanding of lease negotiations and language. The role requires a candidate with established strong broker relationships, a proven ability to take a deal from inception to closing, and the ability to present deal sheets summarizing sourced and executed transactions. The ideal candidate will be resourceful, persuasive, and possess exceptional presentation, communication, and relationship-management skills. A positive, proactive work ethic, extreme attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are essential. The VP will also be expected to be computer-savvy with financial modeling tools and have well-developed organizational skills. Extensive travel may be required.
