About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief People Officer (CPO) to join their team. The CPO will be a senior executive leader responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive people and culture strategy that fosters a high-performing, engaged workforce. This role is pivotal in driving innovation, productivity, and long-term business growth, and the successful candidate will work in close partnership with the CEO to ensure that the people strategy aligns with the organization's mission, values, and business priorities. Key responsibilities include leading the evolution of the people strategy, serving as a cultural anchor, and overseeing the transformation of HR into a strategic enterprise partner. The CPO will also be involved in talent management, leadership development, and ensuring that the organization's practices attract and retain top talent.
Applicants for the CPO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of senior-level leadership experience in people strategy, human capital, or organizational leadership roles. Experience in nonprofit, mission-driven, or purpose-led healthcare organizations is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading through executive transition, organizational change, and enterprise-level HR, culture, and leadership transformation. They must be adept at partnering with CEOs and executive teams, with Board experience being a plus.
