About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief of Staff to the CEO, a pivotal role that demands a strategic and operational force multiplier to work closely with the founder-CEO. The successful candidate will be responsible for translating the CEO's vision and company strategy into clear operating plans, driving company-wide planning processes, and ensuring the progress of enterprise initiatives. This role requires a high level of leadership alignment and accountability, with a focus on keeping the CEO and leadership team aligned, and ensuring that decisions lead to action and follow-through. The Chief of Staff will also be tasked with independently owning and executing cross-functional initiatives, acting as an extension of the CEO, and building and refining systems that improve execution and accountability.
The ideal candidate will have 8-12+ years' of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of partnering with a founder or senior executive in a high-growth environment. They should be a strong strategic thinker, highly organized, and outcomes-oriented, with the ability to influence senior leaders. A background in fast-paced, ambiguous, and resource-lean environments is essential, as is being highly tech-savvy and comfortable with modern productivity, project management, analytics, and AI tools. Personal attributes should include being proactive, anticipatory, and solutions-oriented, with high integrity, discretion, and sound judgment. The role is not for the faint-hearted; it requires a candidate with a low ego, high ownership, and a bias toward action, who is calm and effective in the face of ambiguity and change.
