About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead the execution, coordination, and optimization of clinical operations. The COO will be a key member of the executive leadership team, responsible for translating institutional priorities into operational tactics and ensuring the delivery of outstanding outcomes, experience, and value for patients and families. This role demands a highly effective, experienced leader with a proven track record in driving operational results, leading organizational change, and fostering a culture of collaboration and influence. The successful candidate will be a champion for unity and systemness, with the ability to balance flexibility and decisiveness to optimize patient care.

Candidates for the COO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of progressive operational experience, with at least 5 years' at the senior executive level. Critical experiences include a background in leading complex clinical operations, a strong track record in driving the implementation of strategic and annual operating plans, and experience in continuous process improvement methodologies. The COO must be a systems thinker, capable of engaging and aligning various entities within a large, integrated organization. Additionally, the role requires a leader with a strong focus on performance excellence, efficiency, and value, who can effectively manage the long-term sustainability of the enterprise amid industry-wide disruption and transformation. A degree in a related field is preferred, and a background in pediatric and academic medical centers, as well as experience with a unionized workforce, is also desirable.
