The Company is in search of a Head of Global Employment, SVP, Legal to lead its employment legal and people relations functions. The successful candidate will be a key legal advisor, providing strategic counsel on workforce initiatives, complex personnel matters, and global labor and employment laws. This executive role requires a seasoned attorney with a JD from an accredited law school, active bar membership, and over 15 years of legal experience, particularly in the media, entertainment, or technology sectors. The Head of Global Employment will be responsible for overseeing a large, multi-jurisdictional team, managing high-profile investigations, and ensuring legal compliance in all employment-related matters.
Key responsibilities for this role include driving global employment legal leadership, managing employment disputes, and providing proactive legal risk assessments. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading large legal teams, advising C-suite executives, and aligning legal guidance with the company's culture and guiding principles. Strong negotiation skills, exceptional organizational and communication abilities, and experience with the employment aspects of production environments are essential. The role also involves championing inclusion and diversity and requires a candidate who is adept at navigating sensitive and confidential matters with the utmost professionalism.
