About the Role
The Company is seeking a Managing Director for Tax Equity Advisory. The successful candidate will be responsible for advising clients on tax equity, tax credit, and similar project finance transactions within the renewable energy, infrastructure, housing, community development, or historic preservation sectors. This role requires a strong focus on business development, including networking to convert prospects into clients, and the oversight of transaction execution to ensure all deliverables are met in a timely and appropriate manner. The Managing Director will also mentor and manage a team, driving a metrics-driven approach to achieve departmental goals and measurable revenue results.
Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or economics, with an MBA preferred, and at least 10 years' of experience in tax equity, project finance, or a similar capital advisory role. A FINRA Series 79 license is required, or the candidate must be in active pursuit of the licensure. The role demands a professional with strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to understand the impact of business model decisions on performance. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing and leading a team, be adept at reviewing financial models, and possess advanced analytical and modeling skills. Excellent communication, a professional demeanor, and the ability to work effectively under pressure are essential, as is the willingness to travel for client engagements.
