An international CNC machine manufacturer is currently searching for a motivated CNC Field Service Technician to support their operations in the state of Ohio. This is a full-time and direct hire position. CNC Field Service Technician Responsibilities Include: Travel to the customer sites and perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on equipment and machinery Provide in-person, remote/virtual (via phone and email) customer service, training, and technical support as needed Read and understand machine manuals, technical documents to research issues and problems Communicate well with customers, vendors, and internal department as needed Create maintenance activity reports/records, repair manuals, etc. Other duties as assigned CNC Field Service Technician Requirements Include: High school diploma or GED required, Associate’s degree in technical field preferred 3 – 5 years of experience with CNC machines (maintenance and programming) preferred Experience in FANUC required, YASUKAWA preferred Valid driver’s license Able to travel 50-70% (nationwide/overnight) Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating, and maintenance documents Good communication and collaboration skills in a multicultural environment Strong problem-solving skills and time management ability This position includes manufacturing and warehousing work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 50 pounds, lift in excess of 50 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
