A direct hire opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist to lead pharmacy operations at a retail location in West Chazy, NY. This role requires a proactive professional who can ensure regulatory compliance, manage pharmacy staff, and provide excellent patient care services within a dynamic retail setting. Responsibilities include: Registering with the state board of pharmacy as supervising pharmacist or pharmacist in charge. Maintaining full compliance with federal, state, board of pharmacy regulations, and company policies. Managing pharmacy financial goals, including budget, payroll, third-party administration, scheduling, and inventory. Overseeing pharmacy support personnel, including training, performance management, and regulatory adherence. Providing patient-centered services such as immunizations, medication therapy management (MTM), and wellness programs. Counseling patients and healthcare providers on drug therapies, interactions, and side effects to optimize outcomes. Participating in continuous quality improvement initiatives to uphold patient safety. Ensuring a clean, organized, and professional pharmacy workspace. Completing required continuing education to maintain licensure and certifications. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active New York State Pharmacist License. Immunization Certification with demonstrated comfort in administering all required vaccines. Experience in retail pharmacy operations and staff supervision. Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations. Exceptional communication and counseling skills. Schedule/Hours: Variable schedule with evening shifts required occasionally. Typically follows a 4x10 or 4x12 hour schedule, such as 8am-8pm. Additional Information: Relocation assistance is available for permanent candidates.
