This role involves working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade to provide comprehensive psychological services within a school setting. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to identify students strengths and needs Collaborate with educators, parents, and staff to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support student well-being Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute expertise to support student success Monitor and document student progress and adjust interventions as necessary Promote mental health awareness and create supportive learning environments Desired Qualifications: Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field Valid state certification or licensure as a school psychologist Experience working with students in kindergarten through 12th grade, including elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12) settings Strong understanding of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively within a school contract-based role Location: Philipsburg, PA This contract position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on students educational journeys by providing essential psychological support.
