This role involves providing comprehensive educational evaluations to support students learning needs within the local school district. Key Responsibilities: Conduct detailed assessments to identify students educational strengths and challenges. Analyze evaluation results and develop clear reports that inform instructional planning. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to recommend appropriate interventions and support services. Maintain compliance with all state guidelines and district policies for special education evaluations. Manage assigned caseload efficiently while ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Active Louisiana Department of Education certification as an Educational Diagnostician. Proven experience in conducting evaluations across K-12 levels. Strong knowledge of assessment tools, special education regulations, and intervention strategies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff. Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple responsibilities within a fast-paced environment. Position Details: Location: Metairie, Louisiana (Jefferson Parish School District) Schedule: Full-time, 35 hours per weekMonday through Friday aligned with school calendar; 7 hours/day with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Contract duration: Current School Year (CSY), ending May 22, 2026. Caseload and specific school assignments are to be determined.
