Duties

• Enforcing U.S. Laws: Conduct inspections of individuals and conveyances; detain suspected violators using proper methods;
      
• Facilitate Trade: Ensure compliance with import/export regulations while facilitating trade between countries
      
• Border Security: Enhance national security through intelligence gathering,
   threat assessment & response.
