Full Time- Night shift (7P to 7A) If you're looking for a fast-paced, team-centered environment where every day brings new challenges and meaningful impact, this is the opportunity for you.Required Call: Full Time nurses have 16 hours of required call per 6 weeks. Part Time Nurses have 12 hours of required call per 6 weeks.Experienced Nurse Orientation: Experienced Registered Nurses can expect an orientation period of 10 weeks on the unit.Sign on Bonus up to $20,000 available for qualified candidates! The Sentara BelleHarbour Emergency Department, located in North Suffolk, Virginia, operates 24/7 and serves as a licensed extension of Sentara Obici Hospital. This state-of-the-art, free-standing facility features 17 private emergency beds, including three critical care rooms, and a dedicated space for orthopedic cases. The department also includes observational medicine rooms, allowing patients additional time and care to determine appropriate treatment or admission. Nurses here are specially trained to care for both adult and pediatric patients, ensuring high-quality, compassionate care for all ages. The standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation) along with the standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health) encompass the actions and foundation of professional nursing.
