Provide physical therapy services for students in a K-12 school setting within Lake County Public Schools, servicing multiple school locations in Tavares, FL. This full-time, contract position focuses on supporting up to 40 active students with physical therapy consultations and treatments, working approximately 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday with an 8-hour day plus a 30-minute unpaid break. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct physical therapy interventions and consultation to K-12 students. Manage a caseload of approximately 40 active students across multiple schools. Travel between school locations as needed to provide itinerant therapy services. Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to support student needs. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy plans, progress, and communications. Desired Qualifications: Professional physical therapy license required. Experience in school-based physical therapy preferred but not mandatory. Ability to work effectively in an educational environment supporting children. Strong communication and organizational skills. Willingness to travel between multiple school sites.
