A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 school setting located in Alamogordo, NM. This opportunity is ideal for professionals holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and looking to work in school-based pediatrics with experience in telespeech or teletherapy. The position covers the current school year (CSY) and offers the possibility of full-time or part-time hours based on discussion during the interview. Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive speech-language therapy services to students across various grade levels, tailored to individual needs. Flexibility regarding grade levels will be addressed during the hiring process to best match candidate expertise and student requirements. Services may be delivered in person or through teletherapy platforms, ensuring access to support whether onsite or remote. Desired qualifications and experience: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in New Mexico CCC certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Proven experience working with pediatric populations in school environments Competence in teletherapy and telespeech service delivery Ability to evaluate, diagnose, and provide individualized treatment plans for speech and language disorders This role offers an established client base within a supportive school community known for its positive work environment. Full-time availability (37.5 hours per week) is preferred, but part-time arrangements may be considered depending on candidate circumstances.
