A School Psychologist position is available to provide specialized psychological services within two elementary schools, serving students in early childhood education. This role offers an engaging itinerant schedule, split between schools, with opportunities for partial remote work. Location: Fort Myers, FL (serving two elementary schools) Position Type: Contract (January 5, 2026 May 29, 2026) Work Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Schedule: 2-3 day split between schools, with option for 1 work-from-home day per week Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for elementary-aged students Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop intervention plans Provide counseling and support services tailored to student needs Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to student success strategies Maintain compliance with state regulations and documentation standards Qualifications: Valid Florida Department of Health School Psychologist license Experience working in school-based settings preferred, ideally with elementary-aged students Strong assessment and counseling skills Ability to work effectively between multiple school sites and manage a caseload This role provides an excellent opportunity to impact student outcomes through dedicated psychological support in a vibrant educational environment.
