A school psychologist is needed to support students in grades K-12 across elementary, middle, and high school settings. This position focuses on providing psychological services that enhance students academic performance, social-emotional development, and overall well-being. The role is based in Arvada, CO, within a school environment on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results to identify student needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement intervention plans. Provide counseling and support to students to address behavioral and emotional challenges. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to developing appropriate accommodations. Assist in crisis intervention and support services as needed. Deliver professional advice regarding student mental health and learning strategies. Qualifications: Masters or Doctoral degree in Psychology or School Psychology. Valid state certification or licensure as a school psychologist. Experience working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with an understanding of developmental differences across these grade levels. Strong knowledge of assessment tools and intervention techniques. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
