An opportunity is available for a licensed Occupational Therapist to support students in a K-12 school setting within the Saint Johns County area of Florida. This full-time, itinerant role involves providing occupational therapy services across multiple school sites, covering a medical leave through the end of the current school year. Location:

January 8, 2025 June 1, 2026 Hours:

Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Key Responsibilities: Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions tailored to students individual needs in a school environment. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs). Manage and document student progress in compliance with district and state regulations. Provide itinerant services across multiple school locations to ensure coverage and continuity of care. Monitor and adjust therapy approaches based on student responsiveness and educational goals. Qualifications: Must hold an active Florida Department of Health Occupational Therapist license. Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy, preferably within K-12 settings. Ability to adapt to an itinerant role, managing caseloads across multiple sites efficiently. Strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate with educational teams.
