Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Emergency Department RN for a night shift contract with EKG exam and certification requirements.
Responsibilities Work in a hospital Emergency Department with combined adult and pediatric patient populations 3x12 hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30 Patient ratio is 1:4 Every other weekend and holiday required Triage, IV starts, and phlebotomy skills required First-time travelers are welcome to apply Local candidates within 60 miles are accepted Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
Requirements Active MD or Compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with at least 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms General ED experience with both adult and pediatric populations required Charge experience preferred TNCC, CPI, and MAB certifications preferred
