About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Talent Acquisition to lead the strategic and disciplined recruitment of exceptional individuals who will play a pivotal role in the company's growth and transformation. This senior leadership position is critical as the organization expands from a design and testing phase into full-scale production, with a focus on redefining the future of commercial aviation. The successful candidate will be responsible for architecting and executing the talent acquisition strategy, including the development of systems, processes, and a strong employment brand to support the company's hyper-growth. This role demands a visionary leader with a proven track record in engineering recruiting, the ability to build and lead diverse technical teams, and a deep understanding of technology recruiting best practices.

Key responsibilities for the Head of Talent Acquisition include executing the current hiring plan, creating and optimizing recruiting processes, and establishing the employment brand. The role also involves working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that recruiting and onboarding processes align with the company's mission-driven focus. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years' of engineering recruiting experience, with a preference for those who have supported technical teams in hardware-focused industries. Strong influencing skills, the ability to engage at the executive level, and experience in a high-volume recruiting environment are essential. The Head of Talent Acquisition will also be involved in long-term talent resource forecasting and succession planning, and may have the opportunity to transition into a Head of People role as the company continues to grow.
