Licensed Practical Nurse - Part-Time Weekend Shift

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care under the supervision of person(s) licensed by a State regulatory board to prescribe medication and treatment, or under the direction of a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) . Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards. Licensed Practical Nurse Location: Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO Department: 4H Cardiac Progressive Care Status: Part-Time - 24hrs/week - Weekends Shift: 12 Hour Days (Sat & Sun, 7:00am - 7:30pm) Up to $2,000 Sign-On Bonus - No Contract Required Qualifications: Education : Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program. Licensure : Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements. Position requires prolonged standing and walking during each shift. Other unit specific certifications as required.
