In this role, you would teach communication skills, assist patients in addressing dysfunctional behaviors, and guide them through crises. Responsibilities Perform intake assessments Provide mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children Create individualized treatment plans for each client Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan Perform regular wellness checks Adhere to all facility and licensing standards Qualifications Active and valid Maryland licensure as Licensed Social Worker - LCSW-C,or LCPC required. Graduate of an approved master’s degree program in social work, counseling psychology or other related mental health field. Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred.
