Neurofeedback/mental health therapist

Job Description Job Description Job Summary Seeking an MSW, LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, PhD or other New York State licensed mental health professional to work in a busy neurofeedback practice in Manhattan. Seeking a psychotherapist, part-time that will provide neurofeedback and psychotherapy. No experience in neurofeedback is necessary. We will train in all forms of neurotherapy. In addition, applicant will participate in workshops and conferences produced by Neurofeedback Therapy Services. There will be opportunity for participation in research and publication. Candidate will have a good clinical education and possess advanced computer skills. Applicant must be flexible in terms of job responsibilities and be willing to acquire new skills as the candidate will learn and participate in all functions of Neurofeedback Services of New York. Responsibilities Perform intake assessments Provide neurofeedback and mental health therapy for individuals, couples, families, and children Create individualized treatment plans for each client Use evidence-based treatment methods to facilitate group and individual treatments Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient information and treatment plan Perform regular wellness checks Adhere to all facility and licensing standards Qualifications Master’s degree or higher in counseling, social work, or similar field Current and unrestricted marriage and family therapy license Previous experience as a mental health therapist preferred Excellent computer skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized6b250ea6-cee3-481d-915c-f7283f1b2f1b
