The Breakfast Attendant will ensure a clean, friendly service experience with guests while maintaining breakfast areas and supporting hotel operations.
Responsibilities
Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile.
Use guests’ names whenever possible to enhance welcome.
Maintain spotless cleanliness of breakfast room tables, buffet areas, and surrounding public spaces.
Ensure breakfast buffet is set each morning according to brand standards.
Assist in the preparation and cleanup of kitchen areas following the daily checklist.
Adhere to all food safety measures and local health codes.
Support events and group gatherings at the hotel.
Use relevant technology for the role and answer all incoming calls with friendly service.
Work as part of a team to keep guest rooms and public spaces clean, safe, and well-organized.
Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time.
Coordinate with teammates for effective shift-to-shift communication.Wear a clean, approved uniform and maintain a professional appearance.
Demonstrate a can‑do attitude and willingness to exceed standard role expectations.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment for guests and a positive workplace.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience in hospitality, service, or a consumer-facing franchise preferred.
Positive, can‑do attitude and willingness to learn.
Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
Ability to work well under stressful, high‑pressure situations.
Follow established guidelines and procedures reliably.
Background in guest service and hospitality.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Willingness to work a varied schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Arrive on time, clock in and out accurately, and never work off‑clock.
Provide sufficient notice for scheduled shift cancellation.
Physical Working Demands & Working Environment
Stand or remain in a stationary position for 3‑4 hours at a time.
Operate computers, phones, and other office machinery, and perform 10‑key data entry.
Lift and transport food and beverage boxes up to 25 pounds.
Inspect and visually observe details at close and long ranges.
