Kforce has a client in Warren, MI that is seeking a Battery Cell Technician.
Responsibilities
Prepare parts sketches and write work orders and purchase requests for outside contractors
Draft detail sketches for drafting room completion or to request parts fabrication by machine, sheet or wood shops
Review project instructions and blueprints to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, and the nature of technical problems such as redesign
Review project instructions and specifications to identify, modify and plan requirements for fabrication, assembly and testing
Discuss changes in design, method of manufacture, assembly, drafting techniques and procedures with staff and coordinate corrections
Inspect lines and figures for clarity and return erroneous drawings to designer for correction
Evaluate tool drawing designs by measuring drawing dimensions and comparing with original specifications for form and function using engineering skills
Requirements
Associate's degree in engineering technology or related field required
2-4 years experience required
Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability
Team player and detail oriented
Basic ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations
Basic ability to perform detail calculations to establish manufacturing, construction and installation standards and specifications
Basic knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology
Previous experience with computer applications and design software related to engineering field
Pay Range The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
Benefits We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
