Founded in 1960, Trans Ash is a rapidly growing civil land construction and environmental company. We are always expanding and we are seeking to add a National Sales Manager to our team. This position will be based out of our home office in Cincinnati, OH, with most of the time spent traveling to areas on the east coast, the southeast, and some national travel.
Pay Information $100,000 - $150,000 Annually, subject to skill and experience level

Job Description The National Sales Manager is responsible for leading and executing the company’s national sales strategy within the power generation and construction markets. In this role, you will help to drive revenue growth, develop key customer relationships, and expand market shares across all territories. The ideal candidate brings industry knowledge, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in construction-related sales.
Essential Functions
Develop and implement national sales strategies to achieve revenue, growth, and profitability targets
Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, dealers, distributors, and strategic partners
Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and product applications within the power generation and construction industry
Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activity to adjust strategy as needed
Collaborate with marketing, product, service, and operations teams to align sales efforts with company goals
Forecast sales, manage budgets, and prepare regular performance reports for executive leadership
Ensure consistent sales processes, pricing strategies, and brand representation nationwide
Job Requirements and Qualifications Education
Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Engineering, a related field or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in dealer-based or distributor sales models
Knowledge of sales analytics tools
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the heavy equipment or construction industry
Strong understanding of construction equipment, machinery, rental, or related services
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Ability to analyze data and make strategic, result-driven decisions
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively (typically 60–80%)
Must be able to successfully pass a drug test, MVR, and background check.
Must be able to work in a construction environment.
Must be willing to work after regular business hours with work on weekends, and some holidays when necessary.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Be at least 18 years of age.
