TS Cleared Space Systems Chief Engineer
to work out of El Segundo, CA. The TS Cleared Space Systems Chief Engineer is responsible for leading end-to-end systems engineering, integration, and architecture for complex space systems, ensuring technical requirements, interface management, risk assessment, and collaboration with government and industry stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Lead Systems Engineering & Integration: Drive technical requirements development, oversee contractors, and manage integration of complex space systems including ground segments and payloads.
Interface & Architecture Management: Define and negotiate interface control documents, perform systems architecting, and manage data architecture, performance analysis, and lifecycle cost estimation.
Verification, Validation & Risk Assessment: Oversee requirements verification, validate system performance, and provide risk assessments with actionable recommendations to leadership.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Independently coordinate with government offices, FFRDC, SETA, and contractors to ensure successful program execution.
Qualifications
16= years of relevant space systems engineering experience
Experience with space systems development, integration and/or operatoins of DoD or other agencies
An active top secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
A bachelor's degree is required, master's is preferred
Compensation
Salary: $190,000 - $210,000+ depending on experience
