Imagine a system that stores petabytes of customer data and handles peaks of more than 20 million requests per second, delivering single‑digit‑millisecond responses.
The Amazon DynamoDB Networking Technologies team owns the border networking that powers this level of scale, ensuring low latency, high availability, and fault tolerance for all DynamoDB customers.
Key Job Responsibilities
Solve challenging technical problems at every layer of the stack—for example, designing, implementing, testing, deploying, and maintaining innovative software solutions that improve performance, durability, cost, and security.
Build and sustain high‑quality, highly available, always‑on products that serve millions of requests per second.
Research and evaluate new implementations that deliver the best possible customer experience.
Identify technical requirements based on business goals and translate them into detailed architecture and design.
Lead multi‑engineer, cross‑team projects, mentoring others on project management and prioritization.
Deliver quality projects and features on time and within budget while driving technical best practices through design reviews.
Participate in the full lifecycle of day‑to‑day development activities—prioritization, task breakdown, design documents, code reviews, deployment, and operations.
Perform data analysis to identify opportunities for service optimization and keep current technical knowledge to support evolving technologies.

Design and code solutionsOS that increase software architecture efficiency, building high‑impact metrics, automation, and defect root‑cause resolution.
Collaborate on design discussions, code reviews, and communication with internal and vídeo stakeholders.
Work cross‑functionally to influence business decisions through technical input.
Maintain a startup‑like environment where the most important work is prioritized.
What We’re Looking For
Scaling and operating large cloud‑server fleets.
Deep knowledge of AWS networking.
Proficiency in Python, Java, or Ruby (and familiarity with other modern languages).
Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, public key cryptography, and DNS load distribution.
Experience with connection‑based and request‑based load‑balancing algorithms.
Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large‑scale infrastructure.
Experience with Linux/Unix and CI ప్రార pipelines and build processes.
Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with distributed systems at scale.
Background in high‑performance networking or related domains.
Location:
USA, WA, Seattle Base Salary Range:
$129,200.00 - $174,800.Description, incorporated with sign‑on payments and restricted stock units. Final compensation depends on experience, qualifications, and location.
