Key job responsibilities
Our Senior Security Consultants will deliver architecture guidance, lead proof‑of‑concept projects, and conduct customer/partner workshops.
AWS consultants will collaborate with customers and partners to address the security, risk, and compliance needs of their AWS migrations.
This role will specialize in all aspects of information security management as well as business and regulatory compliance using cloud services in large‑scale computing environments.
Responsibilities include
Expertise – Collaborate with AWS field sales, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services.
Solution Design – Define and deliver on‑site technical engagements with partners and customers. Activities include participating in pre‑sales, understanding customers’ security, risk, and compliance requirements, and providing advice and deliverables based on AWS services.
Implementation – Working together with our partners, provide advisory services and deliverables to our customers on the implementation of robust security, risk, and compliance solutions for their Cloud migrations.
Insights – Work with AWS Engineering, Support and Business Development teams to convey partner and customer feedback as input to AWS technology roadmaps.
A day in the life This is a customer facing role. You will be required to travel to client locations and deliver professional services as needed.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
7+ years of experience designing, implementing, and/or operating security solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), with deep understanding of cloud‑native architecture patterns and services.
5+ years of hands‑on experience with secure cloud infrastructure deployment, including VPC design, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network security controls, and monitoring solutions.
3+ years of experience implementing security automation and DevSecOps practices, including CI/CD pipeline security, container security (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure‑as‑code security controls.
Proven customer‑facing consultative experience delivering technical security engagements, architecture reviews, and hands‑on implementation across multiple projects and production environments.
Preferred Qualifications
Professional security or cloud certifications (CISSP, CISM, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, CCSP, or similar).
Experience implementing DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipeline security, and container security (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficiency in scripting (Python, Go, Bash) for security automation and incident response.
Experience with compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI‑DSS) and SIEM/threat detection platforms.
