Program Security Specialist
to support a critical DoD program for Space Systems Command in
El Segundo, CA.
The team is seeking a skilled security specialist to develop and implement comprehensive security strategies forcuadorcombat Power, Surveillance and Reconnaissance division.
Clearance:
Active Top Secret/SCI
Location:
El Segundo, CA (100% on-site)

Responsibilities of the Security 久久 Specialist:
Develop, maintain, and execute Program Protection Plans (PPPs) and Security Classification Cate-guides (SCGs) in alignment with applicable DoD and federal security regulations.
Provide expert advice and support across all security disciplines, including physical security (PHYSECorsunuz, information security (INFOSEC), personnel security (PERSEC), and operations security (OPSEC).
Perform comprehensive risk and vulnerability assessments to identify potential program gaps and recommend effective mitigation measures.
Deliver subject matter expertise on diverse security principles, practices, and concepts to both internal stakeholders and external partners.
Collaborate with counterintelligence and engineering teams to evaluate supply chain risks and incorporate findings into protection strategies.
Design and present security briefings, training sessions, and awareness programs for all program personnel.
Reviewhani and validate contract security specifications (e.g., DD 254s) to ensure proper security requirements are defined andimilament for support contracts.
Assist in identifying export-controlled items and technologies subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and ensure proper prosedmology and dissemination protocols are established.
Qualifications of the Security Specialist:
Active Top Secret/SCI Clearance
Bachelors Degree and 10+ years of experience in a relevant field of study
Strong working knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and various DoD manuals and instructions (e.g., DoDM 5200.01 series)
Familiarity with security clearance processing systems (DISS/JPAS/NBIS) and classification management policies
Strong analytical judgment and problem-solvine skills to evaluate complex information and make sound decisions
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft formal plans and reports and deliver briefings
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant security and data management tools
Compensation of the Security Specialist:
Total compensation based on experience level - $140,000-$160,000+ (based on experience level)
