Neonatology Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Flagstaff, AZ Service Setting: Acute Care Hospital Coverage Type: Call Only Coverage Period: ASAP
Ongoing Clinical Shift Schedule: Morning rounds included On-Call Shift Schedule: 24-hour on-call (7 on / 7 off) Call Type: In-House COVERAGE DATES Ongoing coverage beginning ASAP Minimum commitment: 1 week per month
PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Neonates Patient Volume/Census: TBD Admissions: Yes Rounding: Included (morning rounds) Phone Consults: Yes Case Mix: Level III-A NICU patients
FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: 18 NICU beds Trauma Level: Adult Levels IIV EMR System: Cerner Office Equipment Available: TBD Specialty Backup Available: Neonatal nursing staff Support Staff Available: NICU nurses Reason for Coverage: Supplemental coverage
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: TBD Credentialing Timeline: ASAP

JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Arizona license required Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neonatology DEA: Required Certifications: BLS, PALS Experience: Minimum 1 year neonatology experience Other Qualifications: Ability to provide independent 24-hour coverage
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide 24-hour on-call neonatology coverage Conduct daily NICU rounds Manage Level III-A NICU patients Collaborate with NICU nursing staff and hospital teams Document all encounters in Cerner EMR
