Responsibilities: Serve as an Advanced Practice Nurse in a correctional facility, providing primary health care to inmates. Deliver comprehensive assessment and management of uncomplicated acute conditions and stable chronic health problems Emphasize patient education, counseling, continuity of care, health promotion, disease prevention, and management Collaborate with physicians and adhere to established clinical guidelines when making patient management decisions Manage the daily operations of outpatient and inpatient departments, including conducting daily sick call Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments, including health maintenance screenings and risk evaluations
