Radiology (Abdominal / Body Imaging) Job Type: Locum Tenens Location: Thornton, CO Service Setting: Acute Care Hospital Coverage Type: Clinical Only Coverage Period: February 23, 2026
Ongoing (Approximately 90 Days) Clinical Shift Schedule: Day shift, 8:00 AM
5:00 PM (35 days per week) COVERAGE DATES Coverage beginning February 23, 2026 Flexible scheduling with 35 day stretches Expected duration approximately 90 days
PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Adults Patient Volume/Census: 6065+ RVUs per 9-hour shift Case Mix: CT, MRI, ultrasound, and X-ray imaging of chest, abdomen, and pelvis
FACILITY INFORMATION No. of Beds in Department: TBD Trauma Level: Adult Levels IIIV EMR System: InteleViewer with integrated hospital systems Office Equipment Available: DivRad workstation Specialty Backup Available: Radiology assistants Support Staff Available: Radiology assistants and 24/7 IT support
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: TBD
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Rate: TBD Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES Abdominal and body imaging interpretation General diagnostic radiology studies
JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Colorado license required; IMLC candidates considered Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Radiology DEA: Required Certifications: TBD Experience: Body imaging experience required Other Qualifications: Body fellowship preferred but not required
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Interpret body imaging studies across multiple modalities Maintain productivity expectations during assigned shifts Utilize AI-assisted tools for diagnostic accuracy Collaborate with radiology assistants and clinical teams Document all findings accurately and timely
