Phone Consults: 1-15 Patient Volume: 1-5 Admissions: 1-2 Rounding Included: Yes Required Procedures: - General Surgery (adult, ped & trauma) - Laparoscopic Surgery: Appendectomy, Cholecystectomy & Hernioplasty - Chest wall/pleural procedures, GI endoscopy Upper & Lower, Sigmoidoscopy, Colonoscopy - Chest tube insertion, Central line insertion, PA Catheter placement & Vascular access devices. - If Trained as Pediatric Surgeons: Artesias (Intestinal & Biliary), Abdominal wall defects, Umbilical defects (Hernia), Diaphragmatic hernia, Imperforate anus & PDA ligation Beds in the Dept: 162 (Hospital) Trauma Level: III EMR: Cerner Hospital Privileges Required: Yes Temporary Privileges Available: Yes Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered
Requirements: Active NM License BC/BE NM Controlled Substance DEA BLS, ACLS, ATLS
