Friday, 7:00 PM
7:00 AM On-Call Shift Schedule: Inpatient consult call, TBD Call Type: Beeper COVERAGE DATES Ongoing coverage beginning March 16, 2026 Minimum commitment of one week per month
PATIENT INFORMATION Patient Demographics: Pediatrics Admissions: Consult service Rounding: Included Phone Consults: Yes Case Mix: Complex infections, immunocompromised patients, transplant-related infections
FACILITY INFORMATION Trauma Level: Level I Specialty Backup Available: Multispecialty pediatric services Support Staff Available: Nursing and ancillary clinical staff Reason for Coverage: Ongoing locum coverage
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE Hospital Privileges Required: Yes IMLC Accepted: Yes NPDB Self-Query Required: Yes
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance: Covered REQUIRED PROCEDURES Pediatric infectious disease consultations Management of complex and transplant-related infections Antibiotic stewardship oversight
JOB REQUIREMENTS Licenses: Active Ohio medical license or ability to obtain via IMLC Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Infectious Disease DEA: Active DEA required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required Experience: Fellowship-trained pediatric infectious disease physician Other Qualifications: Academic hospital experience preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provide pediatric infectious disease inpatient consultations Manage complex infectious diseases in immunocompromised and transplant patients Participate in antibiotic stewardship initiatives Collaborate with infection prevention teams Engage in teaching and case review within an academic children'shospital
