Responsibilities
Assist under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist) by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab.
Ensure the procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure.
Monitor the level of all instruments and supplies.
Participate in departmental staff meetings and performance‑improvement activities.
Assist in training new staff.
Support all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
Qualifications
Previous experience assisting with scrubbing procedures and monitoring data, preferably in a Cardiovascular Lab.
Cardiovascular technician training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and must be maintained current.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required.
Proficient computer skills.
Pay and Benefits St. Francis Medical Center offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that allows employees to tailor benefits to their individual needs. The current compensation range for this role is $36.56 to $45.00 per hour, with the exact amount determined at the time of selection based on skill set, experience, education, credentials and licensure.
