Qualifications
3–5 years of baking/pastry experience in a high‑volume hotel or freestanding restaurant.
Hands‑on proficiency in piping, cake assembly, decoration, chocolate tempering, molded desserts, and basic sugar work.
Solid foundation in classical and contemporary pastry techniques including mousses, glazes, laminated doughs, choux, and plated dessert components.
Proven ability to manage production timelines while maintaining consistent quality, presentation standards, and food safety practices.
English language communication required.
Full availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
Comprehend BEOs.
Prepare all volume food items according to standard recipes and specifications to ensure consistency of product.
Check and control proper storage and rotation of product, and monitor portion control to maintain quality.
Practice inventory controls, including preparation and pickup of items from the storeroom.
Store all food in refrigerated boxes with covers, labels, and dates.
Keep walk‑ins and reach‑ins clean, ensuring all equipment in working areas is sanitary and in working condition, in compliance with health department regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
