Overview At Big Sky Resort, our Food & Beverage Receivers are the backbone of our on‑mountain dining operations, working independently to ensure supplies and equipment reach every location precisely when needed. You'll combine logistics expertise with machinery operation in sobreming terrain, taking ownership of complex deliveries that keep our restaurants running seamlessly. Responsibilities
Receive, verify, and document food and beverage deliveries with precision, ensuring invoice accuracy and product quality
Communicate with vendors regarding discrepancies or damaged goods
Maintain well‑organized and impeccably clean storerooms, with proper product rotation and labeling
Safely operate snowcats to transport goods from the Base Area to on‑mountain restaurants—often in challenging conditions
Conduct and document daily inspections of machinery and equipment
Support restaurant operations by transporting firewood, clearing snow, placing patio furniture, and maintaining exterior cleanliness
Manage waste disposal, including trash, recycling, and keg returns
Assist with team member transport and supply runs
Keep all fuel tanks filled and equipment operating efficiently
Collaborate regularly with restaurant leadership, chefs, and the vehicle maintenance team
Uphold all safety procedures, resort policies, and cleanliness standards
Participate in daily meetings, team check‑ins, and training opportunities
Remain flexible and ready to assist with a wide variety of tasks to support your team and our guests
Qualifications
Be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license
Comfortable operating heavy machinery (snowcat) and working in remote and winter environments
High personal standards and a strong eye for detail
Ability to take initiative and work independently under variable conditions
Calm under pressure and confident with problem solving
Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 pounds overhead
Willing and able to work early mornings, night shifts, weekends, and holidays
