District Enforcement Specialist I City of College Station

Job Description Under general supervision of the District Supervisor, the District Enforcement Specialist is responsible for implementation of district plans, operations and services in the Northgate District. Responsibilities include providing prompt, courteous and effective customer service to stakeholders, citizens and visitors; enforcing city ordinances; and implementing and enforcing district policies, procedures, and activities to improve the overall condition of the area and enhance neighborhood integrity.

Principal Duties

Perform parking operations within the district, including completing monetary and financial functions, staffing pay stations and gates to ensure proper and safe మంత్రి flow of customers and vehicles, conducting garage and other parking asset services, and general maintenance.

Perform parking enforcement by resolving unsafe and/or illegal parking situations, issuing citations, and removing illegally parked vehicles when needed.

Execute district services such as refuse collection and management, upkeep of common areas, pressure washing, minor horticulture work, vandalism response and control, graffiti identification and removal, and monitoring and addressing other needs as identified.

Assist and participate in planning, production and implementation of special events in the district, including vendor relations, street closures, bollard/barricade добров management, logistical support, entertainment coordination, event operations and site preparation.

Coordinate, assist and communicate with various district stakeholders, including other municipal departments, to implement respective activities and efforts, as well as respond to citizens and visitors regarding district assets, operations and policies.

Perform other duties as assigned or directed, including assisting with overseeing and coordinating work assignments for community workers.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

@: Valid Texas Driver's License.

Ability to multi‑task efficiently and effectively.

Ability to work at Texas A'M University home football games and other special events as identified.

Ability to work on‑call

bestimmen 24/7 when scheduled.

Supplemental Information Work Environment and Physical Demands: Work is performed both indoors (parking garage area) and outdoors with exposure to various weather conditions. Employees may be exposed to potentially hazardous conditions, noise, and unpleasant weather. The position involves frequent bending, standing, kneeling, reaching below and above shoulders, and requires moderate to heavy physical exertion and the necessary strength, ability and dexterity to carry, push or pull objects weighing up to 75 lbs. Wrist, hand and finger dexterity are required to operate various equipment and materials. Work shifts will include weekends, holidays, and nights.
