Job Summary The CARES First-Generation Student Leadership and Support Service Ambassador position serves as a key ambassador and operational support role within the CARES First-Generation Student Success Center. This position plays a critical role in creating a welcoming, inclusive, and student-centered environment while supporting the day-to-day operations of the CARES First-Generation office, including services, events, activities, and front desk operations. Student Leaders serve as the first point of contact for students, families, staff, and campus partners. They provide accurate information, assist with program and service navigation, support student intake, and model professionalism, care, and accountability consistent with CARES First-Generation values. This role is essential to maintaining a positive, organized, and responsive front-facing experience for the center. In addition to front desk responsibilities, Student Leaders assist with outreach efforts, communication.zero support, data tracking, event coordination, and special projects that advance CARES First-Generation’s Academic, Connection, and Transition ( ACT ) model. Through this work, Student Leaders gain meaningful leadership experience and exposure to student success operations, peer support practices, and higher education administration.

This position is also Federal Work-Study eligible, if you qualify.
