These benefits will be offered to you when you begin your employment with Advance Northumberland. Some benefits will be offered on a pro-rata basis for the duration of the contract.

Your annual leave 26 days, increases to 31 days, after three years of employment. You can also buy up to 5 days additional annual leave per holiday year.

You are automatically enrolled into the Scottish Widows pension scheme, where you will pay a minimum of 2%, and we pay 8%, which totals to a 10% contribution effort.

THE ROLE

Customer Care Co-ordinator

Temp to cover maternity leave

Salary – from £28,922 per annum

The customer care team is an essential part of our new homes sales team, ensuring that customers are happy with their purchase post move in day and that any issues are resolved as quickly as possible.Job Description and Person Specification

Job title: Customer Care Co-Ordinator

Reports to: Customer Care Manager

Location: Wansbeck Workspace and other locations as part of role.

Role Purpose:

•To support the provision of an efficient and effective after sales service to rectify defects and ensure any maintenance work is carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner.

•Support Ascent Homes to deliver business success through the provision of a robust customer care function.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•To support the post-sale process.

•Work with systems and procedures to ensure all customer concerns are dealt with in a professional and timely manner.

•Monitor snagging and associated requirements to ensure customer satisfaction.

•Collate evidence of defects data and identify any trends

•Liaise with Design and Construction teams to ensure a proactive approach to reduce future snagging issues.

•Support a centralised point of contact for all customers, post move in and ensure all issues are recorded and closed off in a timely manner.

•Ensure the NHBC resolutions are escalated and communicated appropriately.

•Liaise with sub-contractors about appointments to view / carry out repairs

•Ensure any invoicing is processed in a timely manner

•Contribute to the effective delivery of customer care support forthe Ascent Homes teamand make recommendations for improvements or new ways of working to enhance the efficiency of the customer care function

Personal Specification

Essential Criteria

You must have:

•Excellent communication skills

•Excellent customer care skills

•Ability to calm callers / situations

•Strong diary management skills

•Knowledge of NHBC standards

•Full UK Driving licence

It would be good but not essential if you also have:

•Experience of using COINS

•Knowledge of NHBC standards

As a small team, you’ll work closely with Alison our Customer Care Manager and the wider Ascent Homes team, delivering exceptional customer service. You will be a confident communicator, able to deal with a range of enquiries in a professional manner.
